I have been fighting my drivers window! I often want it cracked open a bit to help with demisting (the demist feature on the A/C works great but this doesn't use any battery power!) but when I press the window down button it goes immediately into auto down. So I then pull up the button and rather than stop it goes into auto up mode - AAAGH! :x

I have been trying to find a way to tame the window and now I think I have found it...

Yet another gem from gm-volt.com...

Basically, the answer is simple and probably obvious to a lot of you already:

Simply press the "down" button twice. The second press stops the window instead of starting it back up again!

I thought this worked like a camera shutter (where light=focus, heavy=shutter), Light press for manual control press harder (past click) for automatic Open/Close.

I'll check later.

It might but I could never press it lightly enough to always guarantee it didn't go into auto mode.
