Press release from Citroen today about the e-Berlingo: CITROËN Ë-BERLINGO VAN: THE MULTI-AWARD WINNER IS NOW AVAILABLE WITH 100% ELECTRIC POWER | Media Citroën UK

Similar to most other current PSA cars and vans - 50kWh battery, 136bhp motor, 100kW CCS charging.

800kg payload, same two lengths as the ICE version, no pricing yet but available late 2021.
MPV version now announced as well, what is PSA's aversion to providing the 75kwh option in their MPV's over here?

I could live with that tbh.

All down to how they price these. With Peugeot, going from a petrol to electric 208 (same Allure spec) adds just over £10k to the list price (OTR). The base petrol Rifter in Allure spec is £23745 so if they do the same it's going to be over £33k.

On the other side, the boxy MPVs get discounted a lot - you can actually get a petrol one for £19600 (about 15% off). Similar on the EV would be mid £28k.

Citroen seem to go even more downmarket on spec, and heavier on discounting - you can get a base petrol Berlingo for just over £16k. If that means a £26k-ish Berlingo EV I'm a lot more interested.
