Any one had a problem charging the edispatch?
Had no problems for two years but today it decided to not work!
It tries to connect by locking then goes through the protocol, kicks out, then retries. Then it goes on to lock out, big red disc round charger.
Taken it to fixed charger down the road, same problem.
I think it may be something simple like a fuse.

Any one else had this problem?

I had an issue once. On a drive from Kent up to Stafford I stopped at Toddington and charged without any issue but at Rugby the van and charger wouldn't connect. As I didn't need a charge to make it to my destination and assumed it was just the usual hit & miss success rate I have with Gridserve, I left it and moved on. On my return journey I stopped at Corley and I had the same issue with Instavolt, which usually always works. Tried again and also tried the gridserve units but all without any luck. After 30-40mins of panic and phoning Citroen recovery, I thought while I waited I'd blow in the charge port just in case there was any debris in there and try again, and it worked.

This was approx 9 months ago and not had any issue since. I've no idea if there was any debris in the port or whether the van was just having a bit of a brain fart.

edit: I should say, this issue was only with CCS. While waiting at Corley I managed to hook up to the AC charger without any issues.

Thanks for that Eaz5, did check out the plug and socket, they were both fine though.

Since then tried charging at a rapid station and had no problem apart from the very serious cost!
We have, at the moment, getting around 30 kw from solar and about the same from wind so it comes as a bit of a blow to have to buy the stuff!! But the swimming pool is getting a bit warmer.

Having gone through all Citroen help ( ****) sites no one will be at all suprise to find that the standard reply is " We will get back to you".

So have it booked in for the earliest date of next Tuesday.
