Having done a significant amount of driving recently I have picked up two chips in the climate-control windscreen. Thanks A12. Can I use normal windscreen chip repair companys, or do I need to get the whole screen replaced? I cant imagine autoglass stocking these, or at least they will gradually be more out of stock.

I assume you mean a climate windscreen rather than the standard heated screen, it was an option on all Golfs not just the e Golf so I can't imagine they will be unavailable any time soon. I'd ask your insurers, presumably you've got windscreen cover, they will probably tell you who their approved repairer/installer is or they could refuse to pay up.

To add to what Roger has said, you could contact Autoglass and ask.

Wondered why my screen had that pinkish sheen to it and no visible heating elements. Sure to be expensive to replace😱
