Not supposed to be (iam leasing the same car and expected to not have these). Maybe Kia are feeling generous

I would guess that the front sensors are also a fundamental part of the forward collision avoidance system (along with the radar and maybe the front facing camera). So I’m guessing all versions will have the front sensors as standard?
I'm assuming all versions do have the forward collision avoidance?

Good points. I just thought that the front parking sensors might also add some additional last resort proximity sensing to slower speed emergency braking system. I was only surmising. I think I read somewhere that the system works down to 5 mph. At that speed a full on lock all wheels event could still be beneficial at a couple of feet or so distance. Easily within the range of the ultrasonic parking sensors.

Our e-Niro 3 has front and rear parking sensors. We added no optional extras except Yacht Blue paint to the car when ordering so I assume it is a standard feature. I didn’t know cars ever came with rear sensors only? I thought you either had parking sensors front and rear, or none at all.

You mean cars in general? My Seat Leon had rear only parking sensors but they were added after purchase, so I'm not sure.

Plenty of cars come with just rear parking sensors, the eniro is my first car to have front sensors as well.
Was speaking to the dealer yesterday and he confirmed the 3s do actually come with front sensors. Looks like Kia are throwing in a bonus.

Update following delivery.
The car was delivered (lovely) and front parking sensors were in place as ordered.
However the dealer said there was no cost as they were included despite what was said in the spec.
He also did a discount on mats and gave a very generous trade in on the last car. A good deal from Warwick Kia.

Thoroughly enjoyed the first few days motoring but I quite understand the despair about the public charging network.
Instavolt excellent. Two others didnt work at all and one gave a charge but didn't release the cable until a call to customer services reset the device (Swarco). If EV sales are to take off there has to be a big improvement.
