Today, for the first time, I booted it from a standstill after a traffic light stop while the power consumption screen was visible. The motor consumption figure went up to 60kW and stayed there until I eased off at 60mph.

It was quick enough (it's not a car chosen for excitement, after all). But probably sluggish if I was with 4 passengers.

Will try tomorrow with the Sport mode and see if that's when the full 100kW is available.

I did that in my Leaf a few times just for the fun of it, will have to try it in the Ioniq 😀

In other threads there were comments the Hyundai products only give the full beans when the SOC % is 75+ or so.
ie gun it when you're at 47% and it won't give the top amount .

Just's so you don't waste a test slot

Interesting. I will check that. I was definitely at more than 50%.
