It’s only a small battery hybrid, but driving modes in the 330e are very different to each other. Eco pro has very little regen, lots of coasting, and a reduction in power which is very noticeable especially when joining on slip roads. However it’s also proven to be the most efficient mode. Car feels completely different in Comfort, then in sport mode there’s a few options for steering weight and the gearing completely changes. It’s quite clever really that in Comfort/Sport it really feels like a 330 should. Whereas in Eco Pro it’s closer to a 116! Sport mode mainly reserved for Friday commutes back for the weekend!

Whilst there's no difference in efficiency between the three driving modes with the e-niro, the Ev6 will be totally different with its active clutch on the AWD version. Stick it in ECO and the front motor is fully disengaged to provide better efficiency.

Leaf just slows/smooths accelerator response and increases regen in Eco, AFAICS. No Sport mode...
