Well, I was quite impressed with the saleman, Andy Boylen. He is their Ampera guy and he was very helpful without being too "salesy"... if you know what I mean ;)

More when I take delivery which should be next Wednesday.

I think the expression that you are looking for when it comes to selling "us" the Ampera is "shooting fish in a barrel".

We already know that we want the car and had probably decided on the trim level before we even walked through the door (well it was in our case - the only decision was colour ;)).

All he need do is open the order book and run through the Vauxhall process.

Not that I wish to detract from the skill of then sales person or the dealer in both your case and mine ;)

Cheers

Yes G, you are absolutely correct. We had bought the car in all but the signature before we even walked into the showroom! We actually changed our mind on colour in the showroom... from blue to the dark grey metallic. He just took our money and smiled I think!

Having said that... there was a man after us who he was needing to work on more but he was still pretty laid back about it.
