Got this error today (2nd time its happened, 1st was before xmas). When it happens and you restart the car it doesn't move. Had to sit about for 15mins till could move again.

Booked in for next week, the mechanic hasnt seen it before. He ask if i was using the rapid chargers.

Anyone else experienced this problem and got it fixed?

I actually did my tyres today (although with a bad pump so tyres are all random psi) but that was 60 miles ago.

This issue happen first at 6000 miles and now again at 12000 miles. I cant recreate the problem. Just turning it off for 15 mins to fix

Had a looked around and some other owners have the same problem but cant find a definite answer.

I am a delivery driver so can do 500 miles a week, it is on driving about at least 50 hours a week.

The first time it happened in winter i was idling with the engine on, the car after 10 mins will switch off the motor, did this a couple of times which might of drained the the 12v battery.

But not sure about this time although the other day when i came back to the car after 2 hours the headlights were on? I thought i had accidently pressed the key fob. Also today when i came back to the car twice the radio was on?

In the dealer for about 4 hours they couldn't find anything wrong, they just cleared the fault codes and updated the software.

They said would need to keep it overnight for a few days to run more test. And something about sending out a technical analysis to head office in France to get more info

I asked about a product recall but nothing on there systems.

Mechanic said ok to drive, if happens again bring it back.


Did you leave the electrics running for a period of time? ie draining the 12v battery

What did you do to get going again after the error? I waited 15mins
