Yes, it's certainly related to wetter, cooler weather. My charge door didn't stick all summer, now it's started again. I also started using the fob plus finger method quite a while back.

I'm sure I read somewhere Rick that GM's policy with software updates is only to fix bugs,not introduce new features that later models have, even though as you say, it's almost certainly just software. I've not seen a statement from GM, but owner experience would seem to indicate this is the case..

Had mine come on the other day - I had disconnected the charger with just 15 minutes to go before completion. Following a subsequent full charge it went again.

I've had that too Ray, just the once. Lots of subsequent disconnections before fully charged with no problems though.
