Do they have a social media presence? A polite but robust summary of their failings so far might get some action.
Not sure about that - we ended up doing the setup on my iPad (which has no SIM in it) because the process didn’t work on my iPhone 6S (apparently a known issue with that model). So it certainly wasn’t using the mobile network. In any case we have effectively no 4G signal at the house.During setup, make sure you have good wifi for the EO unit but also make sure you have good mobile data signal - your phone needs to communicate with EO central whilst it's still connected to the EO Mini Pro that won't yet be online. I discovered this the hard way!
Interesting. It didn't work on my iPhone X because the iPhone didn't switch away from the EO's WiFI hotspot to my home WiFi fast enough for the EO software to be able to communicate with the servers (the timeout on the EO app was too short).
