Hello,

Welcome to Speak EV and thanks for joining in here, good luck with the "new" Saab.

Will the "eSaab" be priced competitively with EVs, what is predicted to be the "real world" range of the electric models?
I don’t want another competitively priced EV from Saab like Volkswagen have given us with the STITCH-UP
I accept that I must be patient to see the technology advance but I am inpatient to see an EV competitively price to a comparable automatic ICE car which is what VW could give us right now and those initial 250 would been snapped-up EV lovers like me.
I hope Saab will get real and move the game on.

Information about production start:

(Swedish text, use Google Chrome or Translate)

Short translation: " Official production start will be in a few weeks and there will be some interior changes" the article was published 2014-02-07 Then we have to wait and see when they start to sell and produce EV's for us..

My car before I bought my Soul EV was a 2001 Saab 9-3 2.0 Aero Hot Coupe..... When I sold it it had 270,000 Miles on the odometer. Absolutely everything worked on the car, ALL the electrics and it ran like silk. It Broke my heart too sell it. But I had too move into the future. Bought a Kia Soul EV... :)

I will never buy another ICE again..

Information from Nevs

Nevs hereby clarify that the company is not insolvent. The company does not have enough liquid cash as today to pay all outstanding debt but Nevs’ assets are larger than its debt. Nevs today cannot say exactly when, but Nevs’ suppliers will get paid.

During the summer, the dialogues with the two major vehicle manufacturers have continued and developed in a positive direction. It is a thorough evaluation process that is still ongoing, and the discussions have not been finalized yet.

After the funding is secured, and after that Nevs business plan is updated together with its new partners, Nevs will be able to make the decision on when the Trollhattan factory can resume its production.

The company whose representative filed a bankruptcy petition has informed Nevs today that they will withdraw the case after the information they have got regarding the ongoing dialogues.

Oh no, hopefully just poor photos but looks like the beautiful 9-3 sport saloon lines have been destroyed. It looks very dated and a bit ugly.

Something doesn't look right with those numbers either: 100kW motor, 37 kWh battery, 20 mile range. Misreported or has Google translate got confused?
