New electric CITIGO is a smart and flexible city car perfect for both small-errands and commuting. The electric car gets a range of up to 260 km (WLTP) and very competitive price.

SKODA Norway Site here

A 160 mile range would be about a 30 KWH battery in the Up, if so it's a similar percentage of boost as the second e-Golf received over the original (i.e. add 66% or divide by 3 then times it by 5)

That is a doubling of the battery. If it is that price and you can get hold of them then they will sell lots but those are big "if's".

I think they are holding back until the 1st Jan for sales due the the new rules on emissions fines for manufactures that come in from then.

"We already know that the production version will cost around 19.000 euros and have a WLTP range of 270 km (168 miles), which means that the battery capacity will double from 18,7 to 37,4 kWh when compared to the current Volkswagen e-Up – on which it’s based on"

Pretty much as expected, the standard Citigo with the e-up motor and double the range. Be interesting to see how keenly it’s priced but if you can do without digital displays, big screen and all that could be a great option as a second car/commuter/round the shops type vehicle.

Sounds like it may have 7.2 kw charging on type 2 added, that will also be a nice improvement on the original.

If it directly came across that would be £18,765 before the £3,500 from the government. Interesting.

However these prices tend to creep up in the UK from what a direct Euro to Pound calculation suggests.
