Dear all,

I have a vague recollection that the government issued clarification that when it came to charging consumers for electricity it was possible for anyone to charge on the basis of units of electricity consumed rather than time.

Previously it has only been the utility companies that have been able to charge per unit of electricity - which is why charging infrastructure operators have only issued time based tariffs.

I would be very grateful if someone could clarify for me.

Thanks
Alistair
