Hello, Does anyone have recommendations on which excess insurance to get with elmo? I looked at Insurance4carhire but that says your hire period must be a maximum of 60 days.

I'm with Elmo, have got Insurance4CarHire and successfully used it to claim.

I'm on a Monthly, rolling, 30 day contract with Elmo so that's how I can do it.

Are you on/looking at a 6 month contract or 30-day/monthly?

Out of interest, which month does the 'incident' occur? Presumably no problem that the damage is only spotted when you hand it back, but may have occurred several months ago?

This is what I've always wondered. There must be a way though, as I've seen Onto users claim after giving the car back.

To be fair though, I'd assume Elmo/Onto would just say the damage was caused on the last day of hire, and therefore when I4CH ask for the monthly agreement it should all tie up.

Same here. It counts as 30 days rental each time.
Please do use my referral code ISB2GG for Elmo to obtain a mutual £50 off :)
