Yes the one pedal driving is great. I use B mode in GTE/Hybrid👍

GOT MY New car now only had a quick drive but love it already just a shame the 3 years free we connect ended yesterday is it worth renewing ?
as never got a chance to use it

I find We Connect really useful, it tells you the state of charge, if the cars locked windows closed ect. And you can use it to put the heating in 10 minutes before you get into it 
Also set departure times ect , all from the comfort of your sofa.
Some say it's not very reliable but it's always been reliable for me. I guess it depends on the signal strength as it uses the mobile network.

We Connect (or what ever it was previously called when I had one) was pretty flakey to sign up for even when brand new. You may need someone from VW to help you with it. I think there’s a number you can call.
My favourite feature (apart from all the good stuff that goes with being part electric) was the general look and feel of the car to own. I think the Golf 7 has been described as “peak Golf” and I think that probably sums it up. Compare the feel of your car to an 8 or an ID3 and you’ll know what I mean.

I don't really have one favourite thing, other than the whole package - electric only driving, pre-heat, one pedal driving, the handling, the styling, etc.
WeConnect can be flaky and I get why some people think it is a waste of time and money. Generally it works for me, and I have just paid to extend it 🙂

I bought my 2018 GTE Advance in January this year and signed up to the Connect app no problem, I actually thought it was free? I've not paid anything to use it. The car just turned 3 years old in February.
It comes with a 3 year trial. I thought it was tied to the VIN, but it may not be?
I could always see a contract end date within car-net / VW we connect.
Security & Service Plus is the one which allows remote preheating/charging, I believe..

Favourite feature for me after having me GTE for just over a week is easily the short journeys on pure electric made easier with 1 pedal driving. It's the reason I got a PHEV, knowing that I am able to do longer journeys when I'll use petrol too, without the worry and hassle (in my opinion for me) of charging en route.

Spot on, although I have the regeneration set on automatic. The car itself decides whether to regenerate or freewheel. Means I have to use the brake pedal more often but most of the time, when I do, it’s the regeneration that is slowing me down not the pads against the discs.

Thinking more since I wrote that too and should really add that the GTE is such a sturdy, well-built car! Not had another car this good since my last VW years ago.
