I find We Connect really useful, it tells you the state of charge, if the cars locked windows closed ect. And you can use it to put the heating in 10 minutes before you get into it Also set departure times ect , all from the comfort of your sofa.
Some say it's not very reliable but it's always been reliable for me. I guess it depends on the signal strength as it uses the mobile network.

Whilst I didn't like the idea of paying for a less than perfect app, it does work most of the time for me..so I decided it was just about worth < 1 Octopus referral per year..

I bought my 2018 GTE Advance in January this year and signed up to the Connect app no problem, I actually thought it was free? I've not paid anything to use it. The car just turned 3 years old in February.
