After handing my original car back after 72 hours back in March, an ongoing global pandemic, and an unpleasant redundancy, I've finally got a keeper.

I didn't really have the opportunity to properly test out that first M3 for obvious reasons. But I feel like I've bonded with this. Even my reluctant, sceptical girlfriend is warming to it.

My only regret is not using the refunded original deposit to buy TSLA back in March....

It only works if you have a Chademo port.

Nice colour, it's also the one I'd go for, should hide the dirt well.

I'd keep aero wheels for maximum efficiency.

I realise I'm probably in the minority, but I actually prefer the look of the aero wheels on this car

Aero wheels went back on for our trip to Dorset and back this weekend just gone.

106 miles each way.

Left with 93%. Arrived with 50% (kept it at 65 on the motorway section - approx 40 miles).

On the way back I decided to cane it (70 on the motorway!). Left with 84%, arrived home with 34%. New PB for the journey (in the ICE car it generally takes 2hrs 20, did it in 2hrs). The car is an overtaking weapon.

Mind BLOWN.
