I wonder how many have had my experience to dodging around on a black, wet night trying to find a black charging post obscured by a parcel van?
Some are in really obscure places e.g. Waitrose Hampton and Borders Council,Newton St Boswells, to name but two!
So on my way into IKEA M-K and Nissan Maple-X I set the Muvi camera running.
It strikes me as a highly desirable service particularly to those making there 1st tentative journeys? If the EV community could 'team' to take and submit the videos? Who knows we might get an App built that integrates with charger locations?
This was my first attempt!

Nice idea though. Be good to have the GPS coordinates overlaid too, to help make it obvious?
Does anyone use GPS Co-ordinates? Its not part of Muci NPNG - I guess you have something mor e sophisticated?
When you open the video on YouTube - you get a description of the charger/RFID requirements and the address and Postcode. Postcodes can be unreliable - but the videos are intended to route from the nearest junction - so it should all be self-evident with Postcode & video?

Postcode and video should be enough, to be honest the ideal I guess would be a map overlay on the video, but we can't have it all. :)

I helped design/develop/launch that iPad camera app I posted video from before, overlays live GPS/location data as an option, sure there are others that do the same or more out there. Just not found one.

Paul - Could you do one for this - we could try to get some funding? Obviously it should be part of the National Charger Register - but that seems to be dead duck.

What camera did you use to film that Brian? Looks pretty good.
This is a Veho Muvi HD with the NPNG accessories/ mounting kit. Bought on e-Bay, it was new and unopened for a very fair price <£100. I used it underwater and its was brilliant there too - good resolution and underwater sounds!
