Today received a new update which is called Parking Assistance V01.

Update log only states fix for error messages related to parking sensors so not much else new I'm afraid.

Personally haven't seen this error though, but installed the update while car was parked (stated 10 minutes install time).

I just checked I have Engine updates V1 and V2 as V2 is for the electrical motor failure message that I never had, there are no other updates. I had issues with parking sensors but after the V2 update in November all good. Strange it seems FOTA are different for different regions' cars..?

I've had no updates in a month, probably another thing UK customers will be treated poorly with.

They'll have re-write all code again from right to left for UK. Just takes a bit longer. ;)

Seriously though, haven't got Engine V2 but I also have different engine so that might be another factor to consider too. And different regions etc.

Come to think of it, we might see sensor issues more often as our cars are covered in snow this time of the year.

I got an open R link 1.1.0 update yesterday. Interestingly it's already installed but the system is still showing an update in progress, I hope it is not a glitch. In the notification screen, Renault mentions two other updates related to better battery estimation for route planning and radio screen improvements in versions 1.1.1 and .2. I checked some French sites and also a german forum, so apparently, there is 0/0 update that is going nowhere, I have that now, no solutions yet. Did someone encounter the same issues?

this left/right/country thing is bogus...should not be an issue with modular design with any type of modern software development as all should use regional parameter files. I don't see the need for updates per region for any other critical software I use, so it shouldn't need to be updated and rolled in that way. Crickey the MyRenault knows exactly where i am and plenty of user/car info all with an api call to get xml diagnostic dump from the car...in real time!

The whole thing with the updates is organized stupid, as the infotainment is the same in terms of hardware they should have the same updates for everyone, around the globe, similar to Tesla. I'm pretty pissed with these constant failures...I'm curious to see what the dealer will do to fix it.

My update 1.1.0 passed successfully . It was downloaded for ~10 mins, while i drove, installed when i parked and applied when i left the car.
I saw in a german forum, that next version 1.1.2 is applied via USB at workshop

Hi, so I got back from one of the leading dealers and they tried to update the car with Flash drive, but the attempt failed the car just was not happy with the drive, so they proposed a second factory reset, I did it and waited for around 30 mins and then entered all my profile data again google you name it and then magically the car downloaded and installed the update 1.1.0 OpenR link by itself, up until now I updated the car manually checking every month with the check update functionality. I saw on random pick on the net that the update is also valid for the smaller screen it also bring Android security update to sep 2022 before it was up to Jan 2022, I can confirm with 1.1.0 update Bluetooth and connectivity seems a bit better .

No openR link update here so far. Seems even the French didn't get the parking assistance update though so probably some nordic climate issue.

Got anoter update this week. Again for electric engine, but this time version formatting different. Previous update was upper case lettering and V01, this one in lower case and 0.2.1

Fixes some erroneous electric engine error message I've luckily never had so far.

What was different from previous updates that this one reported before the update was downloaded and the download was carried out in three stages.

Again my engine is the lower power version so might not relate to other cars at all.
