Dear community,

Does somebody has ever experienced that in e-modus full throttle it gives 100% power after 1/2seconds it holds in some power and then keeps on going 100%
Feels like you giving 100% throttle and then 70% then back to 100%
Note that my oil temp doesn't show because the main 1.4tsi is shut off.
Also is it healthy to go hard on the e-modus since its electric you don't have to warm up the engine right?

I don't notice anything like this. Under the 'hybrid mode' display do you see full E-MAX bars?

In cold weather, the car can't output as much power on e-mode (especially when the battery is at low charge) and in some cases under hard acceleration it will kick over to the engine.

It should otherwise be completely safe to go to full power on the e-mode, obviously understand the battery is quite small and doing this all the time will impose large discharge currents on it, which will heat it up. The GTE does have a good battery thermal management system, but it is still being worked harder than it otherwise would be.
