@Russ Freeman are you saying that the service record is not contiguous and the reason why the warranty isn't being honoured?

Thanks for the reply Donald. The car is 2012, with about 84K on the clock. The brake assist is not working. You can only stop the car by pushing your foot extremely hard on the brake.

From the codes, they are saying Modulator and maybe ECU but they will only know if the ECU needs replacement once replacing the Modulator.

If you could send me the VX stuff that would be great. I googled around but could only find the exclusion clause in the NetworkQ warranty. I haven't found the actual Voltec warranty.
The modulator is covered, because it is an HV component, but what date was it registered in 2012?

Thanks @donald, it's much appreciated. So I took the courtesy car back today and agreed to go ahead. I've also just paid up-front for the modulator 😡. Since seeing your letter, I will definitely be following this up. It was registered 20th July 2012!

I even complained to OLEV 3 years ago about Vauxhall not honouring its warranty, undersigned by about 15 other members of this forum ... heh .... If you want to send me the details then I can follow up with OLEV to say they are a useless shower of salary suckers who have achieved nothing, or I can give you that pleasure if you like.

She said they'd only swap the alternator if it was broken.
There is no alternator, just who are these folks? Bellingers seemed ok when they did my 5th year service but it looks like they need to train the staff.
I'm waiting for the 8 years to be up and heading to the local independent, this assumes I still have the amp. Looking possibly to change next year.
