British Gas have just arrived to fit my home charge point. EVSE has worked well for first month but looking forward to slightly faster charging. Went with BG even though we are with ecotricity as pod point couldn't fit until 'some point in the new year'

Have to say I'm really impressed with British Gas. Not used to saying that as have had bad experiences in the past. They said they would be with me between 8-10 am. 7.50am there's a knock on the door, after showing where I wanted the point I left the guy to it. 2 and a half hours later, job done! Quick test and paperwork and he was on his way to do another one in Solihull.

I did a quick test to check speed of charge and using the SOC gauge and a stopwatch (sad I know) worked out 1% every 4 mins or 15% an hour. Works out at 7 hours for 0-100%, not that it has ever been down to 0%.
