I would have another Ampera without hesitation, my hope for the next generation is one with a minimum range of around 60 miles on my type of motoring so that I can cover my commute on electricity only. All other niggles shortcomings are not serious enough for me not to have another one of this generation.

That bigger battery sounds good if it comes here in the 2015 Ampera, just a pity I won't be in the market for a replacement for a while.

They might release more of the 'reserve' if they find that the battery is lasting better than expected.
