Hi everyone,

Here a small update on my Golf GTE Stage 1.
I'm having a ton of fun with the car and she's performing really well!
I made a new video testing some 0-100 KM/H runs (private road).
I tried with both TC on and off, but the runs with TC on were a lot more consistent and not necessarily slower..
Now i probably need some better performing tires lol!

What do you think?
Would you like to see anything in a future video?

What is your 0-100 KM/H record with the GTE?

Yes, good point! The added torque from the E-motor really doesn’t help in 0-100 km/h since stock is already too much torque for the front wheels..

GoodYear EfficientGrip Performance, not the best for grip but very very efficient for the E-motor on the highway!

When people ask me why i run this ugly wheel/tire combo:

130525

Here you can see i’ve driven 32 km (highway) and when entering the city i still have 16 km (!!!) of range left!!
This equates to 48 km of total E-only range.
Average consumption is 12.4 kWh/100km and that’s something you’re never going to get with the stock Serron’s.
Average with Serron’s is 20 kWh/100km.
Factory E-Golf quoted: 15 kWh/100km.
