Does anyone know if the headlights on mk7.5 GTE can be programmed like GTD or Golf R???

Well I have a Mk 7.5 GTE, 17 reg. However I have no idea what the lights on the GTD or R do.

With GTD and golf R the DRL both side 2 led lights work but with GTE single on each side

Ah, that difference. It's been previously covered on here. The GTE light units are different and cannot be made to light up more since the second LED simply isn't there.

C- shaped lights not enough for you?

The 2nd led was only installed with a certain (optional) pack.

As with anything, it probably can be added if you're willing to waste enough money for a 2nd light..

The “L” lights also only work with ‘side’ lights not DRL.
My GTE has both L’s in each headlight but do not work at DRL brightness, only side light brightness.
At present there is no way they can be coded to be DRL brightness, a solution is still alluding us......

TomH. Its enough but looks on the front end of GTE change when both L shape lights are on on both side with C shape in the bumper ...thanks guys and I will be in touch if I can get them done ...

try carista for coding it in. theres alot of things you can do with the app and a cheap dongle of amazon.
