Hi all,

Thinking of getting a Golf GTE and I was wondering if anyone has the dimensions of the boot? (Depth and width)

Also if anyone can give some thoughts on how practical the boot is? Can you get buggy in with a few other bits? Do the cables take up room?

Much appreciated

It’s similar to a normal Golf with the variable boot floor in the top position. Had no problem with an Uppababy Vista or a Phil & Teds double but did need to take wheels off. Recaro Easylife or umbrella-style Maclaren fit easily.

No space for cables (or anything else) under the boot floor, it’s all petrol tank. They came with a couple of bags for cables that clip on to hooks in the corner of the boot but they do take up space. Tyre repair kit also has nowhere to go. We stashed all that stuff in the rear passenger side footwell as the youngest’s car seat was there.

RIDC are good for boot dimensions (they measure so people can see if wheelchairs fit) - Golf GTE DSG 5dr hatch 2015 | RiDC
