Noticed this morning that the car was freezing... After some poking at the controls i reached the conclusion that the blower was broken.

At motorway speed a tiny warm draft was coming thru the vents, but no amount of adjusting the controls would make it blow any harder. Even pressing the windscreen demist option did nothing.

So, is there a common issue with the fan? Cars out of warranty soon, so will need to get onto them ASAP if this is more than just a popped fuse!

If it doesn't blow out any air when set to the front window setting then it's definitely on the wonk. Book in with Nissan ASAP and make sure you get it in before the warranty expires as they have a bad attitude and won't repair things under warranty even if they're only outside due to them not having an appointment in time.

Even if it is a popped fuse there could be something wrong and struggling cabin fans can start fires in cars.

If it has a pollen filter check it's not blocked or drenched.
