There was a recent rant saying that modern EV cooling systems were designed all wrong, couldnt be relied on to dehumidify and heat air flow.

The schematic below from Kia / Hyundai America for the Soul seems to indicate that all the component are arranged correctly to allow for dehumidification heating etc.

Key components are
an inside evaporator - allowing passenger space air to be cooled/dehumidified
inside condensor - allows the hot compressor discharge to be cooled/ passenger space air to be heated
PTC heater - allows passenger air to be heated as a topping addition to internal condensor output
Chiller circuit for motor/invertor - allows heat to be harvested from drivetrain
External condensor - allows heat to be harvested or dumped to external sink/source
Multiple expansion devices.

Plus a lot of switching valves
