Hi, I'm new to this ev game so go easy! I've ordered an Outlander gx4h which I'm expecting in September hopefully. Not that different from my current car, a 3.2 v6 auto diesel Shogun!

I'm getting up to speed with the terminology and really looking forward to the new car, my commute is 39 miles a day, about 10 of which is motorway. I don't have access to charging at work although I'm working on it, my nearest public charger is about 3/4 of a mile away. I've asked our finance department, how much the firm pays for electricity, as my boss had already said I could plug in at work but they have now come back with a big fat no! 'We don't let people fill up with our diesel and pay us back'. I feel they're missing the point somewhat.

Welcome, and good luck with the company charging. You should maybe work our the costs (smart people on here may help with that) and also try with the big boss in terms of being green, socially and environmentally aware and such.
