Yep, I did long commutes in my triplet, 20,000+ miles a year in all weathers. If the workplace chargers were fully booked/faulty I used park and rides etc to grab a rapid charge at some point during the day. Now a Leaf24 but WFH so wifey uses it mostly.Charge at home + charge at workplace + 50 miles one way commute = any EV on the second hand market can do the job.
Just get a Leaf 24 kWh or stretch to 30 kWh. depending if you want to keep the car very long term and will need to do this until the rest of car is beyond economical repair.
