Hi all,

Ordered my first EV yesterday, a Renault Zoe dynamique intens. Come from a few MINIs and lately a VW UP. Reasons for switching from petrol? My daily driving fits perfect with the range of the car and my better half has a diesel for our longer trips.
So hopefully British gas will be in touch soon, and I get the ball rolling.
Cheers
PS thanks to Paul for pointing me over here :)

I'm pretty pleased with the package - its not costing me anymore than the up, and the battery lease works out cheaper than the amount of petrol I use. My place of work also has plans installing chargers too!

Thanks for the welcome :)

I did- but I fancied a change and something a bit bigger. I find people sometimes bully\tailgate you in a small car. I have driven the leaf, twizy and after the test drive on Sunday I was sold.

Just wondering @supermegamonkee, with the apparent rush on Zoe's lately whether the rumoured imminent change to battery sale and likely corresponding price increase influenced your decision to buy the Zoe now ?

Hi,
I didn't know that was on the cards to be honest. I'm happy to lease the battery, I like the comfort it's covered. I plan to change the car after my term so keeping car/batt longer than 4 years wasn't an issue.

Just hope BritishGas get in touch soon, as I fear the car will be ready to collect before they have even put the point in.
