Welcome :)

I think the Prius uses a Type 1 J1772 socket in which case you cannot use most of the Ecotricity chargers. There are a few locations where there are 22kW or 7kW posts alongside the rapids and you can use those but there aren't many of them and Ecotricity are not installing any more.

Just changed from Honda Insight Hybrid to Toyota Prius Plugin. So far so good have signed up for Ecotricity Electric Highway hopefully use their recharging points.

Any tips from other users much appreciated. I am also on Twitter @cuthbertneil

As @Paul_Churchley says you'll have no luck at most Ecotricity locations... I suggest you take a look at ZeroNet if you want charging while you eat/sleep/park/play :)
