Glad I found an active forum of people talking about EV's! Have Outlander PHEV ordered and expected end of June, one of its first jobs is to tow our new Caravan, so that's going to be interesting.

Selling our XC90 V8 4.4 , going to miss it and the toys it has that goes with it. Had drama with British Gas installing charging point but will find the appropriate forum and post there.

Also considering 2nd EV for daily commute but 60 miles round trip and heavy right foot, not seen what I want yet.

Hi @Kevin Trill and welcome. The gen 2 LEAF or ZOE are two pure BEVs that'll do that commute without hassle... Actually most of the latest generation of BEVs will (real ranges usually start at 80 miles).

Congratulations on the Outlander order.

Hi Kevin, congrats on the Outlander. Just out of interest what range per tank did you used to get out of your 4.4 V8?

On a long run maybe 350, lots of short runs 280ish. When we went to Nurburgring last November and went around (quite slowly) when it was raining there where lots of trips to the petrol station, range was not a lot :) but we got there very quickly
