Home Charging Following v2.4 Software Update

I have posted something similar on another forum, so apologies if anyone is already aware of this problem.

Not being a high mileage user, it wasn't until mid September that I needed to charge my car at home on my EO Mini Pro2. When I tried, I kept getting error messages and the light in the car's charge port turned red. I rang EO support to get some help. Anyway, to cut a long story short, it would appear that after the 12v battery swap and v2.4 software update, there appears to be a problem with my EO charger talking to the car. Since first reporting the problem, EO have been in contact with VW in Germany, who recognise there is a problem and are now working with them on a solution.
Although inconvenient, I have been able to charge my car at Tesco on one of their 7kWh chargers and also on a granny plug charger at home.

I've just been called by VW Dealership and 2.4 has been stopped for rollout again and 3.0 updates are suspended for OTA because of other problems- I'm stuck on 2.4 and half charging with EO Mini Pro 2.
Why did the VW dealership call you if you already have 2.4, just in response to your EO issues you’d raised?

3.0 OTA is about to be trialled in the UK and other EU countries, and the learning from that will feed into the full rollout shortly after.

That’s my understanding anyway.
They called because I have a problem where 2.4 broke the charging - it wont go above 3.7kwh AC at all. I complained to VW directly and had a response today via the dealership. Nothing specific on the EO but they did tell me about the suspension of any more 2.4's and 3.0 wont be coming within the 3-4 weeks that the VW website for 3.0 was saying.
The VW 3.0 site said 7 days from 2.4, after it checked in, 3.0 would start downloading - my 2.4 was installed 2 weeks ago after a pause because of suspected 2.4 problems and the 12v temporary shortage.
My car won’t remember the charge location since 2.4, so won’t run with my charge timers.

Fortunately, my wallbox pulsar plus can be set to charge off peak, and the car charges happily during that 7 hour economy 7 period.

2.4 is paused at some dealerships as they can’t get hold of the 2.4 12v batteries which are on back order.

3.0 OTA is about to enter a trial phase across the EU, that was on the VW firstmovers Facebook page a week or so ago.

What a dealership tells you is always worth checking before assuming it’s gospel.
