Hi guys, just wanted to ask a few questions about how everyone keeps up to date with car news. Do you guys also watch a lot of youtube and use reddit to keep update or do you read articles about cars such as industry news and reviews? A lot of these written articles seem clickbait most of the time and seem to be written for the google news algorithm. Does anyone read these articles at all or know anyone good sites and forumns? And how else do you guys keep in touch with what’s happening in the industry?

You can get everything you need to know about EVs from here on SpeakEV.

To summarise;

Tesla were the best.
VW are rubbish.
Toyota are Meh.
Anybody who buys a French brand is insane.
Hyundai/KIA of any description are brilliant.
24 kWh Leaf’s are, however, awesome.

Oh, and buy a diesel, probably.

Anything else you need to know?

Just follow the "EV News Rides Again" thread! Decent stuff has been pre-filtered as a rule, very little crud gets in there! And some very offbeat-but-interesting things turn up as well! Can't recommend it enough. :)

Oh, and follow Tooks's posts to descover that actually VW ID.3s aren't actually the disaster that some paint them to be! (or have actually, genuinely found an instance of disasterous-ness with). Mine was fine, I just didn't like the car! Worked fine. Feels like being in a doctor's surgery to me, clinical, efficient, but you'ld rather be elsewhere). So got rid of, as Ioniq 38 is better for me! (Ducks quickly as brick-bats may arrive any mo...)

So all the OP needs to do, is, subscribe to his own thread! Usual solution in here, start your own thread, toss in a few sparklers now & again, and watch the blaze erupt! :ROFLMAO:

All your questions will be answered, in here, someday... !
(Must find some more typewriters to dish out to the ever-increasing horde of monkeys out there, nearly an infinite number of them!)

Wow, how do you dare say that! Toyota's self-charging hybrids are the best thing since sliced bread! :devilish:

Also don't forget

Company/university xxxx has just announced a new wonder battery that is ten times as fast/cheap/capacity as current cells and will be available within 5 years

'available within 5 years' = we had a good idea that is too expensive/difficult/dangerous to make with current technology

It's not a PHEV, it's a REX! (Latin for Ruler/King, etc). :)

I look at Autocar, Fully Charged, Late Brake Show and one or two others. None are wholly objective, but between them very informative and quite entertaining.

...Wait....what about Fords revolutionary hybrid currently advertised on TV....apparently it charges while you drive, charges when you plug-in and charges when you brake!
