So I found out that the charge timer has a different clock to the satnav and the dashboard clock.
At least the system warns you that they're out of sync.

This photo was taken at 18:37 on Monday. My car had been having some work done on the high voltage systems, and this appeared when I went into the charge timer settings a few days after picking it up. It did make me thing how models without the satnav screen (Visia / S grade) cope with the situation.

What a retarded piece of industrial design. Recognise a problem, then instead of solving it eg by using one time source (maybe RDS radio might be a universally viable choice), put a stupid message up and create new problems for owners as result. What twat signed that off.
