I have a Renault ZOE 22kw 2013 EV and I have always thought that when the interior heater climate control is set to deflect to footwell that its very poor. The heater is good out of every other vent like when deflected to windscreen or face vents on the dash but footwell very poor and my feet and legs feel colder.

So the other day I put a OBD2 adaptor into the CAN socket and put the climate control to feet area only and then checked with PyREN and it gave me this :

139467

as you can see the footwell deflection is only 48% and it will not go any higher - if i want all the heat to divert to my feet (which I do in winter and cold weather) I will need to have that 90-100% - but then I see the motor setpoint is at 48% so thats got to be the reason its heat wont go anywhere near to 100% down by my feet!

So, now to the question , How do I get to the setpoint section of the motor for the flap? - have looked in DDT4all and PYREN and cannot find this setting at all - any help please can anyone on here offer?

If I cannot change the setpoint with DDT4ALL or PYREN then would a renault garage be able to change it do you reckon , or would (and I havent got it) a Renault CAN CLIP be able to adjust it?

Are you sue this isn't the limit of the valve? I know it sounds a bit strange but it is possible that 48% is as far as it should go. There could be some mechanical stop and Renault didn't bother changing the software to scale accordingly. Pushing it to drive pass that point might make things go pop..
Also I assume you've checked the other valves and they all go to 100%?

I don't have DDT4ALL otherwise I would go and check mine, sorry.

Thanks, I have checked the recirculation flap with Pyren and that goes to 100 percent when that is on. - when I put the direction to face vents thats only air coming out of face vents . when i direct to screen it only comes out of screen vents . but when i put to feet area air still comes out of the face vents, which i dont think it should but no, i havent checked percentage wise . in fact i dont think PyRen has the settings/info for the other vents, just the footwell and recycling/recirculation flap info as in the picture.
You could be right. maybe they dont set the footwell flap over 48% so there is always at all times air coming out of the other vents to clear the windscreen/windows ect
