Is there a possibiliy to charge my car in GB without being a resident? Or do I get a card as a tourist?

You normally need a card, but there are something like 10 different cards depending on the area you are going to. Also not all the cards are free, and then not all of the chargers are free.
However, ZeroNet chargers from ZeroCarbonWorld are normally free, take a look at their website to see if they are near your planned destinations.

Ecotricity cards are free, as is charging at any of the Ecotricity rapid chargers in their extensive network, mainly on the motorways.

I live in Southern England, and find an Ecotricity card is almost essential in order to travel any distance.

ZeroCarbonWord is great too, but in reality I have yet to use one of their points, but have used Ecotricity well over a hundred times.

Where are you planning to travel, and with what vehicle?
