I'm pleasantly surprised by the way things are going. I had thought a heavy car with the front wheels doing all the work might mean a short life and a merry one, for the front tyres at least. I'm running them at around 40psi/2.8bar all round.

I plotted a wear graph based on the first 5000 miles and have just measured the tread depth again, at 9500 miles. Front and rear are right on trend, at 4mm and 5.4mm, respectively. If I swap the wheels fore and aft at around 14,000 miles, all 4 tyres should be down to around 2mm at 27,000 miles, assuming wear continues at the same rate. That's not bad, I feel.
