We went to Hyde Park yesterday. Berkley Square which is close has 2 chargepoints (source london) and parking is free for 4 hours whilst charging. We were unlucky as a plug in Pruis and a Leaf were already on charge but atleast parking was still free as it was Sunday. The car park under Hyde Park has 50 charge points but its £10 for 2 hours!!!

Love the sound of free parking with charging in London! Even the £10 for 2 hours doesn't sound too bad, considering the location. :)

ZeroNet Lancaster London overlooks Hyde Park and you can use the dedicated EV parking even if you don't stay. Electricity is free and parking fee is similar to most other central London locations afaik (I've never paid because it's free with an overnight stay or meeting)

Wow! Thanks Kevin. I just checked the room rates - £151 does not sound too dreadful. This time though we'll stay out of town.

I'll drop the hotel an email and see if I can make use of their charger.
