Can you help a ZOE owner please. Do all i3's have rubber inner caps fitted to the charging sockets? I tried to buy one from a BMW dealer but they couldn't find it on their exploded diagrams of the charging socket assembly.

Those were the parts that came up for a european i3 94Ah built in july last year. The image looks like it's from the US version, not sure if there's a slightly different part number for the UK, will have more of a search.

Is the OP looking for a charge cap for one with or without DC charging?

Looking through the ETK catalog, there are at least two different parts (before and after 2015) but they show the same diagram when you look at the application tab so I would guess that they have used the one diagram but that the European part will be the correct type 2 cover - selecting a different region i3 lists a different part number for the cover even though the diagram is the same (and it lists the charging socket as Type 1 rather than Type 2) so I would say 61139343122 will get you the Type 2 + DC charging cap / cover.

Thank you all for your help I have ordered one from my local BMW dealer for £28.84 + VAT. I scoured the web and couldn't find an alternative source for one at a cheaper price. My most interesting alternative that I found was free plans for a 3D printer version!
