I attempted to use my local garage's airline over the weekend and found that the inflation gun let more air out of the tyre than it put in, I noticed that the presta valve seems smaller in diameter than a regular car tires valve.

What is everybody else's experience in this?

I did use the supplied compressor to top the tyres up but don't really like using this on a weekly basis.

I've not noticed any difference with mine, though I've not tried commercial airlines only my normal screw-fit home pumps.
