Both of my ID3’s have given the light failure warning (once each) and both times been cleared by a stop - restart.

I’ve also had the cant select drive error (A year ago) thst was also cleared by that.

the oddest one was when the usbc stopped working (for both power and CarPlay) which again fixed itself via this way.

I had the sos error though that needed two brief workshop visits (wouldn’t go away).

however - the drive error has for some people required work on the coolant system… if it’s an intermittent error I’d bet there was some air in there causing intermittent sensor triggering…

I had this, booked in for service, and in the meantime the following failed:

First was App Connect to go, then the audio system, there's no radio or Bluetooth. Navigation gone.

Then ACC, lane assist, airbags, passenger protection, front assist, automatic windscreen wiper. Gone.

Now I noticed stationery heating air conditioning also not working.

Yeah, that's about it. VW is analysing the error logs, I am waiting for a callback.

Ugh. That’s crap I suspect they’ll try swapping out different modules until it gets fixed.
