My VW ID.4 2021 year Infotainment system says update the software and turns off after couple of seconds. Vehicle itself operates properly, however neither infotainment screen nor dashboard is enabled. Few weeks ago the same message was appearing but it was not shutting down after couple of seconds. How can I solve this issue?

The car is under warranty, is it not? Contact VW service. That's what I'd do, after maximum an hour of googling. If I can't find a solution within that hour then it's time for them to do what I paid for.

Car is not under warranty. And there is not authorized service center near my location

Will require a service centre to reapply the latest firmware version I think. I've seen a screen similar to that in the v3 update instructions on erWIN and it required a firmware refresh which you can't do yourself.

I haven't seen that message on an ID car before. Is it a US spec ID4? They have different software from European versions so you'll probably have better luck on an American site (this site is 99% UK). Try Volkswagen ID.4
