It can be very satisfying boycotting something you were never going to buy in the first place.......Are you saying a can’t base my buying decisions on massive racist generalisations and grudges any more?

However I love the way Macron treated Trump when he visited France. Did you watch the clip with the French Military Band playing Daft Punk with a confused Trump not following the plot. I disagree with Macron on his Ukraine/Russia policy but that will not stop me loving France. No one in this country should be buying new French cars with the way Macron is behaving on Ukraine and numerous other issues
Yes, I was expecting to see one there. When I am on holiday in France I will pop onto a dealer and have a look, they are already being sold in France. You know what? This is actually growing on me. But I'll wait until the configurator goes live before deciding if I want one.
EDIT - Shame Renault completely dropped out of Fully Charged Live
Saw one at Fully Charged Amsterdam.Yes, I was expecting to see one there. When I am on holiday in France I will pop onto a dealer and have a look, they are already being sold in France.
They are much easier to get into and out of.I do like the look of the Megane E-Tech. If it is actually sensibly priced, not outrageously expensive like all current EVs.
Also why does it look so out of proportion? What's with the obsession with making cars so unnecessarily tall nowadays?
But not so easy to get into and out of a parking space or some EV charging bays! They are much easier to get into and out of.
Not that I have ever had a problem getting in or out of any of the regular size cars I have owned or driven. They are much easier to get into and out of.
Or driveways. Or generally to move around in town/city centres. But not so easy to get into and out of a parking space or some EV charging bays!
Did you hear him say that it is narrower than a Zoe and shorter than a Focus? Not actually that high either. It's the (fashionable?) butch styling that makes it look oversized. It's not.Not that I have ever had a problem getting in or out of any of the regular size cars I have owned or driven.
Actually, I find it much harder getting into unnecessarily high cars.
I don't see what's wrong with just wanting a normal size car, not some oversized hulk.
Please explain a little. Why would the Renault platform be better? The current leaf is incredibly comfortable and quiet and drives very well. I'd happily get one if the price was right. I haven't seen the Renault yet but it looks awful in the pics with that flat front and annoying enormous Renault badge.Looks a good car, Nissan should absolutely retire the age old Leaf platform and bring a new Leaf out based on this one, it has a lot going for it.
One thing I liked about the Leaf was it's narrowness. The length and height are not an issue, but the stupid tendency for manufacturers to seemingly just multiply all the dimensions by 10, 20 or whatever percent is, so they end up with oversized vehicle not best suited to the UK roads."Narrower than a Zoe"? That would make very cramped.
The Leaf is on the same platform as the Pulsar it is not an EV specific platform (transmission tunnel etc) and the Leaf has torsion beam rear suspension which is substandard compared to other offerings with several disadvantages. Please explain a little. The ZE1 Leaf has coil springs all round. Maybe still has a twist beam too.The Leaf is on the same platform as the Pulsar it is not an EV specific platform (transmission tunnel etc) and the Leaf has torsion beam rear suspension which is substandard compared to other offerings with several disadvantages.
An EV specific platform is superior.
Can't say I paid any attention to noise on my test drive, was too busy getting familiar with all the (E)"Tech"Anyone noticed how loud the car is in the video? The Zoe I tested briefly is also very noisy. The Ariya is much more quiet in the test videos.
