I use Maidstone and MK a couple of times a month (hopping between them is about the limit of my i3).
Never had to queue. It’s very rare I see another car using them at the same time. At MK there’s sometimes a couple of other cars at peak time but they tend to use the Polar chargers.
feck know, but here's hoping. Seems to be from YouTube videos. Chargers seem to be more reliable, next summer could be the sweet spot before the VW MEB rollout really kicks in and then we could be into queueing and people being ar$e$
Just checked out the map and indeed it is looking good, but let's hope it keeps expanding. I'd like to see Arras, st Quentin, Rouen, evreux, Besancon, Orléans, Bourges, Clermont Ferrand, bordeaux, Pau to fill in some gaps / add some route options. I was thinking of going to la pierre st matin in late summer next year, so the western side heading towards Spain would be especially welcome.
I go the other way to the sister in laws in Genoa, so Mont Blanc or Frejus both looking not to bad (although my wife isn't to keen in doing it in the i3, adding that to the Tesla Model 3 justification / bargaining point list)
Interested in swapping to the new EV specific octopus energy GO tariff anyone on this tariff is it any good? Opinions please. I did email them and asked for details but they never replied I have just changed to Bulb but the 5p kWh for 4 hours is tempting on octopus.

Hi all, I hope you all might be able to help
My wife and I bought our first EV, a 3 year old Leaf 30 kWh about 6 weeks ago. We’re loving the car, surprisingly roomy & being a Tekna with 6.6kWh on board charger it seems pretty well spec’d.
Reading this forum over the last few weeks, there...
I've been doing some reading and having watched John Ward's excellent video on this topic, I have come to notice that my EV charger has no earth rod.
Apparently this would be in violation of the OLEV grant regulations as the IEC code of practice for EV charging is supposed to be followed.
Hi all. I'm hoping one of the knowledgeable electricians on here can offer some advice. I think this topic may affect others in the future who have electrical work done post chargepoint install, so thought it was worth bringing up.
We have two 32a chargepoints, both of which were installed...
