Showing a good range :)

After a 70mile drive back to Bristol this was the range...

163 miles :)

So have the front end a quick clay bar to get the bugs off and set about my first modification :)

Rear boot liner

My Zoe has the Bose boot subwoofer so this wasn’t as easy as it could have been...

So I took the subwoofer out

There are 3 x fixing points (10mm nuts)

I placed the boot liner in and pressed down to mark the back

Then I drilled them out with a 10mm bit

Then put the liner back in

Then refit the subwoofer - need to press down quite hard to get the nuts to bite the studs due to the additional thickness :)

Some initial thoughts about the car

Love the front head - the headlamps are STUNNING!!

The heated seat buttons are in a ridiculous place.

My Q90 has android auto already ;) (I don’t have an android phone though)

Satnav is excellent

Bose system is a good sound - wouldn’t have paid for it though

The monitoring outside pollution levels and switching to recirc - EXCELLENT

Seats are fab and it’s nice to be high up

Car drives SO nice and has lovely power delivery and doing 70miles the first time I ever drove an EV was not issue and I slipped starlight into it.

Why can’t I find the pedestrian noise to change it ha ha

What a fab car though

It's supposed to change using the button near to the headlamp leveller. I've tried it a couple of times, but like a couple of things on the Zoe it reverts to default when you start the car again. Very annoying.

Glad to see you got it early. Nice to see them coming through. It seems that the lead times may have unnecessarily put some people off.

Best news I have heard today. I didn't fancy all the messing about to get it working, but would have done it anyway.

Have fun with your car, starting to get really excited for mine.

Personally, I hate the navigation part of R-Link 1. At first I didn't realize it had old maps and was sending me into non-existing roads, doing weird things etc. I bought a separate TomTom that updates over Wifi, before I realized it should've been updated with the separate PC program. Since it's a shared/company car, I don't have control over that, and you do, so that's a big plus.

Everything else about the car is fantastic, though. It's a spirited drive, and often surprises passengers. I like the full-screen dashboard, and I think the whole console with speedometer looks much nicer than other EVs.

Although I understand people who order the R90/R110, personally I've used the quick charging on multiple occasions. I've driven it from Amsterdam to the South of France, and the North of Germany. Absolutely awesome road trips, which greatly surprised the people I was staying with.

and I slipped starlight into it.
I'm not a native speaker... this sounds like a '70s glamrock band :D But seriously, what does it mean?

By the way, did you realize you can change the "style" of the dashboard with the button right next to it? It's the button with the three "sticks". Took me ages before realizing that, and it's quite fun to switch styles.

I have a lot of experience with getting the best range out of a ZOE. I'm going to give you the benefit of that experience and suggest you try driving it with the doors shut.

Don't forget to update the maps on a PC ASAP as you only have (I think) 30 days to claim your "latest map guarantee".

How much was the bootliner? Looks good and thanks for info on how to fit as I am getting a Signature too and may do same.
