Uber is in the news this morning about its purchase of Jump, the electric bike sharing scheme. It works like Mobike or Oyo, which means you don't have to return it to a station. Once done, you just have to leave it outside, in a place anyone can access, not blocking the way or dangerous, and lock it.

Now, Mobike has started around it, and I find that brilliant. It's a lot more practical than the standard London bikes. The ability of leaving your bike at your destination, and having some scattered around so there's usually one not too far when you need one are great.

But... how does that work for an electric bike? Does anyone know how the Jump scheme works? Their website doesn't say anything about that.
