Hoping to get my Zoe R135GT by end of July, having had a week test drive

Discovered 200+ mile range, exceptional ride comfort, thrilling acceleration, lovely steering, good aircon

Also discovered most charging stations are designed by utter muppets that seem hell bent on discouraging EV usage...

Recent range record for this car: 400+ miles!!

This surely involves descending a very long mountain pass on a one way trip - I reckon I could do 250 if I really try...but,.....

*200+ miles range in Summer
*exceptional ride comfort if you run the tyres at recommended PSI, which reduces ultimate range.
*thrilling acceleration compared to your old ICE
*Lovely steering? compared to your worn out ICE
*good aircon if you don't use eco mode, wait until the refrigerant starts to leak?

*recent range record for this car;400+ miles!! If you drive around a test rack at 12mph in perfect conditions, and stop when it gets later in the evening because the temp dropped a couple of degrees.

Aside from that, decent choice of car. ;)

Indeed, cant wait to experiment in few weeks when delivery is due - I am a bit of a 'range freak' - could get 100mpg from Mondeo 2.0 tdci (over 20 mls) with 180k miles on clock on local back road driving, simply by using 5% or no throttle, just rowing through gears and driving under 1500 rpm and coasting / switching off at all opportunities - sensible country cruising speed maintained - pulls 6th gear from idle when cruising :)

Over 20miles? Surely a true test is over a whole tank? ;)

I got 5.7mpkwh out of the "famously" inefficient (as dictated by those who have never driven on) MG ZS EV this week. Over nearly 19miles at an average 30mph as I drove through some of the lake district. ;) Only 0.2mpkwh lower than my best in the Zoe which was over a whole tank.
